This page explains the steps to request deletion of your account and personal data, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Steps to delete your account

  1. Contact us via the contact form or via the Live Chat accessible at the bottom right of our site.
  2. Include in your message:
  • your login email address to Tripwizy,
  • the subject: “Delete my account”.

Our team will verify your identity to protect the security of your data.
Proof of identity or confirmation via the email address associated with your account may be requested.

Consequences of deletion

  • Your Tripwizy account will be deactivated and then deleted from our systems.
  • All your associated data will be deleted, except for data we must retain for legal reasons (e.g. billing).
  • If you are the Owner of an active map, it will also be deleted along with all associated data (places, routes, etc.). To avoid its deletion, before requesting deletion of your account, transfer ownership to another user (share your map with another user and then designate them as the map owner).
  • Some anonymized or aggregated data (e.g. technical statistics) may be retained for internal analysis purposes.

Processing times

We are committed to processing your request within a maximum of 30 days, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Once the deletion is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
