If you are present on a Wednesday morning on Saint Peter's Square, don't miss the opportunity to attend the Papal Audience, where the Pope addresses the faithful. Check the schedule and access arrangements in advance, as they may vary depending on the time of year. Ticket available here.
Arrive early in the morning
To avoid crowds and fully enjoy the visit, it is recommended to arrive early in the morning, before the opening of the basilica. This will allow you to experience a more peaceful visit and admire the details without being too rushed. Caution! During papal audiences, which usually take place on Wednesday mornings around 10:30 AM, access to the basilica is not possible. You can visit it again around 12 PM.
Wear appropriate clothing
